Persicaria affinis flowering

I’ve had my Persicaria affinis (Dwarf fleeceflower) for a few years now and it has to be one of the most carefree plants I have. Needs next to no work to keep it looking tidy and while it can spread it is so easy to control I’ve kept my clump about a foot wide for 5 or so years with no problems. I grow this fairly dry but being a Persicaria I’m sure it wouldn’t mind a little bit of extra water either.

It will now flower pretty well throughout the rest of the summer.

Happy Victoria Day long weekend!
