Pretty Plants at the Toronto Zoo

I was at the Toronto Zoo on Tuesday April 27th. It was a little on the chilly side but there were few people around so on the whole it was a great day.

Tulips
Some fantastic looking Tulips at their peak.

Vriesea splendens
Vriesea splendens hit by the sun just right.

ID Orchid
And interesting Orchid species.

Flowering Quince

Flowering Quince
Either a Flowering Quince or a Hawthorn… leaning towards Quince but could be wrong.

Alocasia/ID Aroid
Is this an Alocasia?
