The biggest thing about Canada Blooms just might be that it means spring is right around the corner. And with it come the bulbs. Here are a few of the Tulip pictures I took this year:
This purple one on the bronze sedge backdrop with copper lights was really impressive.
Gorgeous!
Maybe this fall I’ll try once again to try to trick tulips into believing they are somewhere besides hot and humid South Georgia USA.
Those are gorgeous color combinations.
Hi, Andrew, your photos are truly extraordinary… and thanks for adding my ranchoreubidoux blog to your blog roll. We live in such different parts of the world — with such different plants to love — that I’d love for you to comment should you visit my site. Thanks, Reuben
Thanks for stopping by. I’d definitely grow more succulents if I grew in a warmer area but instead I seem to be following a lot of California based gardeners and enjoying their plants instead. Looking forward to reading more of your posts.
Spring is here. The tulips are gorgeous. There’s one spot in SF that I can think of to see them…but hardly this impressive. Matti
Wow, gorgeous tulips. I especially love the purple ones. Orange, too.
Great shots. Where are all these tulips located? Gotta love the sea of color!
It was just a temporary indoor setup for the Canada Blooms show in Toronto last week, forced and planted inside. A lot of them where the pics are taken at eye level were in planters, the rest in temporary gardens around the show.
The show was very interesting and I enjoyed it very much. I shot a video of the Feature Garden Award winners. The video is at http://www.vimeo.com/21881151
