Bloom Day filler post

image

I think my battery backup is dead or something along those lines. Whatever the problem I can’t get on my computer to do a proper bloom day post so here’s a filler post. When you have African Violets you always have flowers, even in January.

Update – so definitely the battery backup. Back on my comp but still going to wait to do a full Bloom Day post, just because I’ve got a few new things about to flower that couldn’t quite make it for today.

I need to grab some african violets. My grandma always had a tonne and I had one for years until an insect problem that got out of control. I get them printed at London Drugs. High quality epson paper and inks. There are a few places like Adorama where you can get it printed online but shipping is brutal. It was $30 to get an 8″x 10″ shipped to Vancouver! They have really low prices for the prints though so if you need a bunch it may be worth it.

    Thanks for the info.

When the weather warms up I’ll have to send you some violet leaves, maybe a leaf from each of my top 5 most interesting violets. Get back to me in April and remind me because otherwise I might forget.
